Penwood's Collingwood showroom is at 20 Balsam St, inside the Harbour Centre plaza. It carries a rotating selection of dining sets, bedroom pieces, home office and living room storage, plus outdoor furniture built for Georgian Bay weather. It's Penwood's newest showroom and the smallest by review count, and it holds a 5.0-star rating on Google. The sample is small. The furniture is the same as at every other location.
Furniture for Four-Season Homes and Cottages
A lot of Collingwood orders go into chalets near Blue Mountain, four-season homes, and family cottages around Wasaga Beach and Stayner. If a place sits empty and unheated for stretches of the year, some finishes handle the humidity swing better than others. Ask the staff before you order and they’ll steer you toward what holds up.
Everything is custom. You choose the wood species, dimensions, finish and hardware. Woods: cherry, oak, walnut and maple, kiln-dried and locally sourced. Finishes: 30+ hand-applied stains. Build time is 8 to 12 weeks from order confirmation.

Penwood's 20+ master builders work in Mennonite woodworking communities across southern Ontario. Hand tools, kiln-dried hardwood, full joinery, no particle board cores. Same approach since 1993.
