Every Penwood piece is made to order, and every finish is applied by hand rather than sprayed by machine. Pick a species below to see that wood's finishes photographed on real samples — or bring a flooring or fabric sample into any showroom and we'll colour-match to it.
Choose a wood species
Warm, open grain with a reddish-pink cast. Works best with warm amber and brown stains; cool grey tones can clash with the undertone.
These are the finishes we have photographed on real samples of each species. We stain a wider range than this on request — and we colour-match to a sample you bring in. Screens shift colour, so always look at a physical sample in a showroom before you finalise an order.
