Penwood's Morriston showroom is at 34 Queen St, in the village just south of Guelph off Highway 6. Two floors of handcrafted solid wood furniture: dining tables and chairs, bedroom suites, home office and living room storage, built by Mennonite craftspeople across southern Ontario.

Custom Work, Built to Order
Every piece is made to order. You choose the wood species, dimensions, finish and hardware, and it gets built from scratch. No two orders match.
Woods: cherry, oak, walnut and maple, kiln-dried and locally sourced. Finishes: 30+ hand-applied stains, from light natural tones to deep walnut. Build time runs 8 to 12 weeks once the order is confirmed.

A rotating selection of dining tables, dressers, hutches, beds, media units and desks is shown on the floor. Displays vary, so call ahead to confirm a specific style, wood species, or finish is available to view.

The Craft Behind It
Penwood's 20+ master builders work in Mennonite woodworking communities across southern Ontario, using hand tools and kiln-dried hardwood with full joinery and no particle board. The method hasn't changed since 1993.
Two trees planted for every one used. Every board that enters the shop gets used somewhere. Buying from Penwood puts money back into the hands of the craftspeople and the rural communities they work in.
